The new Forrest Hotel in Arlanda-Stockholm is part of the "AirportCity Stockholm", a development plan which aims to transform this strategic pole into a modern and accessible airport city, a meeting place for residents and visitors consisting of a mix of commercial, accomodation and working spaces.
The Forrest Hotel, designed by Bau Architects, will be the largest airport hotel in the region. The project, designed for the needs of the modern traveller, focuses on spaces for socialization and relax.
The hotel offers great flexibility providing accomodations of different types, including ten XXL rooms for large groups and one suite.
StercheleGroup contributed to the project with the engineering and production of 513 Hybrid Bathroom Pods, a mixed solution between concrete and lightweight type specially designed to meet the project requirements. The bathroom pod are made in concrete with a wall made in steel and panels in which the electrical system of the rooms is fitted, supplied in 3 different models according to the project specifications and installed to the floors during the construction phases of the building.
