Installing

What recommendations are provided regarding the installation of interior walls around the module? Is it required an extra wall or else the walls of the module may be used as a support?

Regarding concrete modules, the lining boards can be glued onto the external faces of the module itself. In case of a steel structure, the plasterboard lining can be fixed directly onto the module’s steel frame, paying attention only to the position of the possible pipe installation.

What recommendations are provided about the casting around the module? The module can be cast solid or else spacers should be used with respect to sound insulation?

If the module is set in recessed floor area, it should be separated by the screed casting by means of sound insulating strips.

Are there minimum or maximum dimensions in the production of a Bathroom Pod?

No. StercheleGroup® technology allows a total architectural and dimensional freedom. When the width and/or height exceed m. 2.50, transport costs are affected. In these cases a good alternative is to divide the cell into two parts to be laid side by side in the final position.

Can Bathroom Pods be realized without the basement?

Yes. If the project requires it, the floor is laid directly on the slab and bathroom pods are then produced without the floor.

Can Bathroom Pods be realized with a window?

Yes. StercheleGroup® realizes rectangular, round and full height windows. Of course, since bathroom pods must have walls all around, the hole of the window must coincide with the one within the exterior wall and the counter frame and the frame of the window must have a suitable thickness to compensate the external wall together with the pod wall.
